We celebrated Halloween a week early this year, taking the kids trick-or-treating in Plymouth the Sunday before. Shannon Anderson's parents live in Plymouth in a neighborhood that was just the right size for our young crew to wander about. Worked out well since actual Halloween was a rainy mess and we headed up north for a wedding reception.

Arjen, Gus, and Alex got a second wind after sitting around a bonfire at the Thiel's house (Alex's maternal grandparents) and eating S'mores (cause Halloween candy wasn't enough!). They were rolling down the hill, moving stones with toy dump trucks, and basically having good ol' quality kid time.
