Our first field trip!

This morning marked our first "fieldtrip" outing.  We joined other moms and kids from our stroller strides class at Tanaka Farms, a local farm in Irvine, for a tour of the farm and strawberry picking.  The boys got a kick out of it, and we got to take home a pound of fresh, organic strawberries!

On the tractor ride.  Arjen was quite pleased with getting to go on the "trailer hitch"

We stopped for samples of the fresh produce along the way.  The green beans were a hit!  The maui onion, not so much.  

He was a big fan of the carrot too.

At the strawberry field, we all got to get out and pick strawberries.  

Eating them was the best part!

Gus got hold of a carrot too, but pretty much just held it.
