3 months old!

Hard to believe our little guy is already 3 months old. He is growing really well. At his 3 month checkup, he weighed in at 12 lb 4 oz, measured 23.5", and for those who are interested...his head is 39 cm around. So, he continues to be off the charts for a premie, and he's averaging 25th percentile on the full term charts.  He is now holding his head up fairly well when we hold him upright, but still working to lift his big head all the way up to look straight ahead if on his belly.  He gazes in our eyes and smiles lovingly, although he often gives his octopus a similar smile (see videos below).  He has started "talking" to us a ton, again, also with the octopus! Overall he seems to be "catching up" to his chronological age really well.  "Premie?" he says.  "Bah!"
