Random shots of happiness

I take so many pictures these days, but out of habit, unless it's a main event, they rarely make it to the blog. So here are a couple faves from recent days...

An afternoon at Sherman island

Morning bro love

Of the three, I think Aotis will be the most likely mini-me with dad.

I'm learning to appreciate my picture window and 6am sunrise feedings with Aotis.

Happy Easter!

We got a later start than previous years, but the Osterbaum was made!  Arjen did most of it, with some help from Gus, and even Sloane pitched in an egg or two!  Aotis decided that was a good time for napping, so he skipped out on the hanging of eggs festivities this year.

Managed to take a pic of the finished product on a rainy, gray Easter.  Harder to see the eggs this year with spring coming earlier and the leaves filling in!

The new guy did join us for easter egg dying though.  He wasn't really sure what to make of it all.

We've been saying Aotis resembles Arjen…they even have the same head tilt...

Our cuddly, snuggly little Easter Bunny.  :)

"I'm a bucket head!"  The boys got new sand buckets as their easter baskets this year.

Both the big boys were pretty excited about searching for eggs Easter morning.  Finding their Easter Baskets was just an added bonus!

Go badgers!

Aotis may have celebrated the badgers advancing to the final four with one too many...

Our kids have the best grandparents!

A few pictures and words don't even come close to showing the gratitude and love we have for our kids' grandparents! You all made adding a third child to our family feel like a walk in the park!

We love you! Thank you!

Happy St Patrick's Day!

We donned our green and at green eggs and kiwis for breakfast! For lunch, our sandwiches had dubliner cheese ("from" our Keane family farm in county Cork Ireland), followed by corned beef and cabbage for dinner of course!

The best part though was the Saturday before when we were treated to a delicious lamb stew by grandpa Dave, and got to enjoy it with him, Baba, and our house guests Adam, Shannon, and Alex!

We found some cute leprechauns:

The only pic I managed to get of dinner...I think I finally joined the table when the Minnesotans were putting a wee one to bed. Sorry to miss you 3 in the pic!

Happy St. Patrick's day!!

Happy 3rd birthday Gus!

Gus, you're three!
You love everything "Frozen"
You love puzzles, and are amazing with solving them!
You are the size of a 4 1/2 year old.
You are kind and sweet and such a wonderful little person!
You are becoming a great big brother, and love to say Aotis is "so cute!" with the perfect inflection in your voice.
You can build things all day long...if you don't choose a path in life that involves architecture or engineering we'll be shocked!
You love to sing, and managed to learn the lyrics to the entire Frozen soundtrack.

Gus and Aunt Casey shared their bday weekend. On Gus's bday, we got to have fun with some urban mini golf and pizza dinner for Casey's 30th!

Then on Casey's bday, we celebrated with family (and a few superheroes!) at our house!

Happy birthday Gus! We love you and your infectious smile! (And for the record, you built this Lego ice castle by yourself using the "constructions")
